Een nieuw hoofdstuk voor House of Velour
Sommige meubels verdienen het om niet vergeten te worden.
Een mooi vintage meubelstuk draagt vaak al een verhaal met zich mee. De lijnen, het hout, de kleine imperfecties — ze vertellen iets over de tijd waarin het gemaakt is. Maar soms heeft zo’n stuk simpelweg een nieuwe blik nodig om weer gezien te worden.
Dat is waar House of Velour begint.
Met liefde voor vintage meubels, bijzondere details en de schoonheid van imperfectie geef ik bestaande meubelstukken een tweede leven. Niet door ze terug te brengen naar hoe ze ooit waren, maar door ze opnieuw te creëren tot iets dat helemaal van nu is.
Een diepe kleur. Een bijzondere print. Rijk velvet. Decoupage die het meubel bijna verandert in een kunstwerk. Ieder stuk ontstaat opnieuw, met behoud van het karakter dat er al was.
En nu krijgt dat verhaal een eigen plek.
House of Velour opent haar showroom op Nieuw Kijkduin.
Een plek waar je de collectie niet alleen kunt bekijken, maar waar je de meubels van dichtbij kunt ervaren. Waar je de details kunt zien, de materialen kunt voelen en kunt ontdekken hoeveel karakter er schuilgaat in een meubel dat ooit misschien over het hoofd werd gezien.
De showroom is geen traditionele meubelwinkel. Het is een plek voor bijzondere vintage vondsten, opnieuw gecreëerde statement pieces en meubels die klaar zijn voor hun volgende hoofdstuk.

De showroom is uitsluitend op afspraak te bezoeken. Zo is er alle tijd om je rustig mee te nemen door de collectie en het verhaal achter de verschillende stukken te vertellen.

That is where House of Velour begins.
With a love for vintage furniture, beautiful details and the beauty of imperfection, I give existing pieces a second life. Not by returning them to what they once were, but by reimagining them into something entirely new.
A deep, expressive colour. An unexpected print. Rich velvet. Decoupage that transforms a piece into something almost like a work of art. Every piece is recreated by hand, while preserving the character that was already there.
And now, that story is getting a place of its own.
